Retail Action Project (RAP) presents...
Against Poverty Wages and Wage Theft in SoHo
End: ShoeMania, 654 Broadway b/w Bond & Bleecker
Literally hundreds of retail workers in SoHo are taking a stand against stolen wages, illegal company fines, and unpaid overtime!!!
SHOE MANIA: Nearly 150 workers are suing the company for approximately $3 million in unpaid wages and illegal fines going back more than 6 years!
MYSTIQUE BOUTIQUE/ AMSTERDAM/ EXSTAZA/ MADNESS: Workers are fighting to recover nearly $2 million in unpaid minimum wage and overtime.
This blatant and systematic exploitation in the SoHo retail industry must come to an end!
Workers deserve more than just the minimum wage. We demand a living wage to provide a happy and healthy life for ourselves and our families.
At a bare minimum, fashion retailers must be forced to comply with all State and Federal labor laws.
WAGE THEFT BREAKS OUR HEARTS!
